THESIS STATEMENT:
Language ivolved through gestures–hand or body movements, with the vocal speech, visual, and sound transmittion.
FIRST PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Ancestors from 5 to 6 million years ago weren't capable of communicating through sounds or speech, so they rely on bodily gestures.
SECOND PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
It took time for vocal speech to emerge given that, gestures were the means of communication, and was only able to complete til' 170,000 years ago.
THIRD PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Switching from sign to vocal language a mode of communication was hard for our ancestors, although sign language has its complexity, still gestures, were their means afterall.
FOURTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Hand gestures or movements weren't actually removed and was continued till now as it holds great deal especially in deaf communities as well as speakers, this signifies that language evolved through combination of vocal speech, hand gestures and bodily movements.
SIXTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Words spoken helps unto distinguishing an object or symbol that might be confusable, and on shortening of words overtime also makes communication more efficient as it has " less effort".
SEVENTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Using iconic representation would only confuse people, so relying on words of mouth to pass information, awareness, and survival is essential.
EIGHT PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Using spoken words is useful in naming objects and conveying abstract information.
NINTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Sign language may be easy to learn but spoken words are superior as it lessen the confusion in communicating and signs were iconic.
TENTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Advantage of speech over gesture is that it can be used in the dark without relying on our visual prowess.
ELEVENTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
While having the ability to communicate in the dark, we can also speak to people without looking at them, as to words speak louder than actions.
TWELFTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Speech does have one disadvantage, it may generally accessible to those around you but not or less convenient for sending confidential or secret messages, but whispering can do the cover.

Sounds plays significant role unto emphasizing specific actions.
FOURTEENTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Visual signals can only attract attention if they were restricted region of space, whereas alerting power of sounds is independent of where its source is located relative to its listener.
FIFTEENTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Speech has attentional advantage. Manual gestures needed you to focus or fix your eyes unto the gestures to understand, while speech can let you hear the words spoken and understand them without even looking at the person.
SIXTEENTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Vocal language proves extra medium. In arguments and messages on programs, that vocal channel provide additional textures and richness along with the expressions and gestures.
SEVENTEENTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Speech allows the vocal and manual components to serve different purposes, wherein vocal components can be used to convey direction, of movements that might accompany any statement.
EIGHTEENTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Speech may have ivolved because it freed the hands to do activities, this implies that we can and do talk while doing other things.
NINETEENTH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
In communicating, it is easier to convey information through talking and demonstrating than combining sign language with demonstration.
TWENTIETH PARAGRAPH MAIN IDEA:
Language and Manufacture allowed cultural transmittion to become the dominant mode of inheritance in human life.
